sorry for not posting in a while but we have been busy. Here are some bullet points of some of the activities:
We came up with the name, SCOOTit, in two minutes when our startup lecturer was shouting at us to finish quickly. Four months have passed since then, and we have reached a lot of milestones. Your boi, Chingiskhan, came up with this brand in his sleep and I think it better represents the brand culture of ours. Thanks to Hoang for this sexi tulip that he made in Adobe Illustrator :)
This week, Max and I went to Duisburg, Germany to propose our pilot project to the local government which was quite successful since they are very open to and support it. They showed us key areas where we can launch our project and told us some of the city (public) transportation needs/problems SCOOTit can solve, we were also given key contacts to help us launch at the Duisburg uni and the techno parks. Chino met with Young business at HAN to get us the moneymoney...
while exploring duisburg and spending 4 hours on German public transportation max and I came up with very innovative ideas for charging stations and scooter charging technologies allowing us to be semi-dockless as efficient as possible that we are currently discuss with the science guys...
New reforms are going to be done to how we organize our tasks and priorities...
The intern you needed and still need 🙂
Utwente: Went back to my previous Uni (Utwente in Eschede) to present SCOOTit as an option for mobility around the campus for students. They loved it and think that it could be great addition to their campus, just awaiting confirmation and then we will implement it ASAP
Hiring: We have hired some new people to the team:
NovioTech: As we have been in Nijmegen quite a few times over the past week we went to visit Noviotech campus to present our Service. They love the idea and are interested in using the scooters once they are allowed onto cycle paths. We are working on getting approval with the governments for select routes.
Mercatorlaunch: We are looking for investors and came across MercatorLaunch and Brechtje. She has proven to be very helpful and is well connected in Nijmegen.

So we have been grindin hard after that Amsterdam trip. We met up with many people, contacted even more, and got rejected by even EVEN more people. Last week, we met up with Kevin Rijke, director of IPKW. IPKW is a sustainable business park in Arnhem btw. So blah blah we made our first deal! That is pretty EPIC 😎. Anyhow, I will continue working on improving our SCOOTit and making it into SUCCess. See you on the other side
P.S. we need an intern to do this stuff
Another day another trip to Amsterdam. This time we met with the Owner of Swheels2Go, a company which we kept hearing about, but did not know a lot about. We asked a lot of questions about the company and found out that they are planning to create a scooter which is road legal in the Netherlands. They will do this by working closely with a factory in Shenzhen, China.
After seeing the sights of Amsterdam and a few beers we went to a FREE financial event with Samed from INNOVATE Today . This event was to help us get a better understanding of the financial side of the company. This event gave us a lot of useful information for our company and we will go to Haarlem to meet with Innovate Today again.
SCOOTit strikes again! Me, Max Schalow and Hoang IJsseldijk presented in front of multiple investors: Harmen van der Kooij, Michel Willems, Karin Hilton, Alwin Ruimschotel, Dennis Rot, Dennis Tan and Ivana Setiawan. Lots of gratitude for their advises and belief in our skills 🙏 Big thanks to ECE Students for the provided opportunity.
P.S. i admit i copied this from my linkedin post. sry was too lazy to type.

Through the connections of our favorite "Dad" (Pieter) we met up with Mike Kok from Allego to discuss marketing ideas and possible cooperation with Allego. Him and some other Allego workers loved the scooter and the idea. Mike gave us some great ideas and direction on what we need to work on. We are creating a proper marketing plan and dusting up the business plan right now.
Next we met with our engineer to see what he has been working on, followed up by a few beers "to bond a little".
Hoping to Launch scooters by the start of next month.
Your boys reached out to hundreds of e-scooter sharing companies for some sweet knowledge, but only one have replied - the real MVP - Maxim Romain, CEO of Dott.
We got ourselves together after camping in the forest, took our scootits and headed to Amsterdam. Meeting Maxim was a great experience, he seemed chill and helped us out in any way possible. I also took an interview with him for my YouTube channel - TNRI (please subscribe and like).
We can see opportunities of working with Dott in the future, whereas, out trip to Bird office ended up with no results :(
In the end of that day, we got picked up by our friends and ate some delicious Pakistani BBQ (yum!). What I've learned is to keep trying and not letting downfalls stop you.
Even though we have just got back to uni we have a week off for Kings day. nice! This means we have created many plans for scootit and we have a lot of time to work on them. Slowly but surely we are getting there. Everyday we are contacting new people and getting new ideas and connections. I think this week we will really start to get some recognition and i'm excited.
For now I'm gonna enjoy kings day and after that its time to work hard.
p.s our engineer has designed our prototype charging station and we are ready to build it in the upcoming weeks.
